Saim Hyder is SAMEER
At his high school in Lucknow, India, Saim acted in plays like The Prince of Baghdad and Julius Caesar. To follow his passion for acting, he moved to the United States to continue his studies. He completed a Masters in Mass Communication at Arkansas State University and then trained at Maggie Flanigan Acting Studio in New York City.
Saim has had leading roles in numerous short films including Fulfillment, Larry Brought Lemon (which screened at the Indian Film Festival in Tampa, Florida), and Patrons (which screened at the Palm Springs International Film Festival).
Saim is also a seasoned theater actor whose credits include the starring role of Alexander Loehman in Chekov's The Cherry Orchard. He has also played leading and critical roles in Off-Broadway shows such as The Rajah's Son and Princess Labam, Bonafide Women, and One Nation Under God.
